Thanksgiving

I am going to try this Blog thing out because Braydan and Jessica's Blog is so cute I decided to try it again.

We went to Mike and Amy's for Thanksgiving and Grandma and Grandad Parker came to visit. We had lots and lots of food and Grandma dropped the sweet potatoes while she took them out of the oven what a mess. We have to give her a hard time. However, most of us didn't mind because we don't really like sweet potatoes. I am pretty sure Gavin didn’t eat anything maybe a tiny piece of Ham which he wanted to dip in the gravy. After dinner we went outside and played Gavin played mostly with Kyler’s new toy a T-Ball set which I am very glad he likes, don’t tell Gavin but that was what we got for him for Christmas along with a kids vacuum that really picks up. The other kids and Mike played with a big ball the kids had lots of fun.

Grandma and Grandad Parker stayed with us for around 5 days and then with Mike and Amy for 5 days. We had lots of fun we went shopping, the zoo, the park and just had fun. The Zoo was fun this time we went to the Stingray Bay and touched the Rays Gavin liked to put his hand in the water but if he actually touched one, he got scared and pulled his hand out of the water. Gavin was so tired after the zoo he fell asleep in the car just min after getting in but went in and out of consciousness he would wake and say “I want to go to the Park” and fall back asleep or he would wake up crying and I would ask if he wanted water and he would yell “NO” I asked if he wanted food he would yell “NO” and then go right back to sleep. Gavin loved to drive in Grandad’s truck now every truck that drives by he says its “Grandad’s Truck”. I love to have grandparents stay with us they get up early with Gavin and I get to sleep in. It was lots of fun having them come and we will get to see them again in Feb. It will also be fun to have Grandma and Grandpa Barrett stay with us for Christmas and again end of January.
