Christmas 2010
Christmas this year is so fun. The boys had a great time. Now that Gavin is getting older. Chris and I have been debating all month about what we want to do about Santa. We talked about not doing Santa, doing Santa, only having him bring one gift, etc. I kind of didn't want Santa and Chris was leaning that way also. I wanted the kids to talk more about the real meaning of Christmas over Santa. Talking with Gavin and why we celebrate Christmas he wanted to have a big birthday party on Christmas with cake and pinata. I thought it was cute and talked to Chris, but he thought it still wouldn't accomplish what we wanted. We bought a bunch of Christmas videos that the church puts out and watched one a night for a few nights before Christmas. When Christmas morning came Chris told Gavin that Mom and Dad bought his presents and Santa only gets gifts for kids that don't have a mom and dad to do Christmas. So there you have it, no Santa for our kids. Gavin mentioned on Christmas that mom and dad give way better gifts than Santa. That's right we do! A few people have asked Gavin if Santa came and he said no. With confusion they ask if he got gifts he said "yes, mom and dad gave me a way cool video game". We also got the boys a tramp that we put in the spare room. People think I am crazy, but I seriously love it inside. I don't have to worry that Brody isn't dressed or that it is hot or cold. They like me to watch and it is easier to do and get things done with it inside. All year round and will not get ruined in the Arizona heat. I have been so excited and they jump on it all the time (all day Christmas). At the very bottom is a video of they getting the tramp. Brody was so funny.

Pictures
Paris isn't crawling, but she does do push ups.
The boys have been super excited that the oranges are finally ready to eat. They each have 1-2 a day at this rate our tree will be empty in a week.
Pictures from the Gymnastics Holiday Spectacular. Gavin really enjoyed the event and I just thought he was so cute.
His favorite part was receiving the shirt and medal.
There are a bunch of videos from his gymnastics event bellow.

Talents
Here are a bunch of Videos from Gavin's Gymnastics Holiday Spectacular. I have a bunch of pictures that I will post later. His coach is York Parris and he is so great with the boys.
The tramp he hit his head and said he had a headache.
Brody entertaining himself during the event.
Before they got their medal they got to show a trick. Gavin wanted to do a handstand, but he let me know after that he was mad that he fell on his back.

Christmas Tree
Well we got the tree up. Gavin loved going through all the decorations.
Paris was good and watched.
Brody was a goof most the time. Do you like his crazy hair. He likes to go in the bathroom and comb his hair. If it isn't sticking up it is not good. Brody liked to put all the ornaments in one place using the stool.

The kids love the lights on.
He also thought it was fun to reach the top with the help from mom.
On a side note. Gavin came home from school with another birthday invitation. Is this normal? Its like two or three a month. We have been to a few but most we haven't been going because we are busy on Saturdays and others are on Sunday. I felt bad about one because its a boy he always plays with at school and he was having a bounce house that Gavin really wanted to go, but I just couldn't work in going with him. I also see lots of the parents at school and they ask why we didn't come. I just wondered if this is normal for most classes or just Gavin's. Most the parents have become really good friends, I just don't have the time. I am the mean mom that doesn't take him. Anyway just curious if this is how it will be with every class and every child. Two posts in a week I am doing great!

November Update
It has been a busy month. I have lots of different pictures to post.
This is a picture of Cheyane, Remi and Paris. Symony came to visit and made me tired shopping. Not sure how she can go all day and not be tired and still want to do something after. I must be getting old because I don't know how she does it. But her kids are so much better in the store, they just sit in the stroller like good kids. My kids are not good and Gavin did get lost in the Outlet Mall (stress). I almost had to get a security guard.
Paris and Hudson. Paris is slightly older by a few months. He weighs a ton I couldn't carry him long.
Paris in her Christmas dress.

She is so funny. She laughs like the woody woodpecker. Her brothers like to make her laugh.

and cry. The boys don't know how to leave her alone sometimes.

I hung the canvas as a wall mural. There are three blank canvas to do later and ever time they see them they want to paint. I don't have room for all their paintings they want to do.
I received a new calling at church. I got released from Activities committee and Young Women's. I was actually sad to be released from YW. There were lots of girls I really liked. They are still texting me reguarly so I will not miss them as mush. My new calling is Primary Secretary. I thought YW was busy, but this calling has been even worse as far as being busy. I am hoping that after we get settled after the first of year it will get easier.
The boys painted on canvas. Brody is a very careful painter. He would get tired and want me to do it. I would tell him he could stop and rest, be done, or keep going. He would sigh and keep painting. He likes every part of white painted a color. He is a complete opposite compared to Gavin in this department. It was a huge canvas 16x18.
Yea finished!!
Gavin's painting.
Then Gavin wanted to use puff bottle paint. Gavin does a cute job with this quick easy style. Brody wanted the squeeze the whole bottle in one spot to make sure he covered the canvas. After he had three or four huge globs of paint. I gave him a paint brush to spread it around to cover the full canvas.

Farm Day
Off to the farm. Grandma and Grandpa get invited to a farm once a year and we go along. Gavin and Cloie loved the bounce house, no pictures. They were playing and I asked if they wanted to get ice cream and Gavin says "yea bring me some". I told him he had to come get it himself and he says "no thanks". They played in that thing forever.
Feeding the animals is fun.
Dad and Paris hang out. No good pictures of her.
Brody was scared to get on the horse, but once he was on he loved it. He wanted to ride more, but they were putting them away after they got off.
