May-May
We have a new addition to the family. We finally gave in to Gavin's constant asking of a pet. Gavin has named his new, girl pet hamster May-May (not sure how he came up with it). We asked if he named her after Grandma and he says yes. So far Gavin does not leave the poor thing alone. We figured a hamster was perfect because he wanted a dog little to hold in his hands that he could carry around. I think a hamster will be easier than a dog.
We have the cage on the floor so the kids can watch May-May. Paris thinks it is funny to bang on the cage. They say that hamsters are nocturnal, but I don't think May-May will get much sleep during the day, she may be tired at night.
Brody of course is scared. He will get kind of close if May-May is in her ball or cage. Brody will yell at Gavin to put her back in the cage. So far Brody has touched her twice with his finger.
Gavin had to sleep by May-May tonight.
Paris Hello
Paris likes to answer the phone. If she hears it ring and doesn't have a phone she will put her hand to her ear and say hello.

Paris Turned 1
I still can't believe my baby is 1. The time with her has just flown by. She still looks and acts to little to be this old. Paris is the best little girl I could have. She is happy playing on the floor, as of last week is finally sleeping through the night, great at crawling, and is just so easy. Her brothers love her way to much. How did we get so blessed to have her in our family.
For her birthday we watched conference at Grandma and Grandpa's. Eat dinner and had cake.
She loved the cake. First tried to eat it with her spoon the settled for just picking it up.
Her Aunt Amy and Uncle Mike and kids give her a way cute doll, which I haven't taken a picture of yet. It was the only toy she got on her birthday. Good thing they were sweet enough to do that.
Chris and I deciding she didn't need anything (we are boring for 1st birthdays) and Grandma and Grandpa Barrett giving her money that went in her saving acount (we love practical, it will help pay for college in 17 more birthdays). Grammy Parker having surgery made her, Grandad's, Aunt Becky, Matt, and Colton present late. Good thing Paris is just happy with a birthday with eating cake as the best part.
Playing in the the kitchen is her favorite, especially pulling out the boys plates, bowls, and cups.

I have been letting her go out and play with the boys instead of just watching from the window. She has learned quickly to find the mud and play with her brothers. It will be nice when she is walking so her pants are not as dirty.
Went to the Dr a couple days after her Birthday she is about the same percents. Height 27.7" at 13%, 18.8 lbs at 15%, head 12m at 51%.
These videos are funny. I told the boys they could blow out Paris candle together.
Brody then realized at the end he missed getting to blow out the candle. So we had to sing again so he could get a turn blowing it out. Funny kids.
