Brody's Blessing

We did Brody’s baby blessing on Sunday the 24th everything was perfect. Brody was so good unlike Gavin he didn’t cry and he stayed quite all through sacrament. It was so nice, Chris did a great blessing and Mike, Matt, Grandad and the bishop joined him in the circle. Gavin really enjoyed having his cousins to sit by in sacrament. After sacrament we had a BBQ at Amy’s house the kids enjoyed playing with each other.

It was so fun to have the Parkers up to visit and finally see cousin Colton who is almost 5 months now. He is a very cute little boy.

Brody has been sick with a cough it sounds bad he isn’t sleeping as good during the day as he could but he is a really good little boy. Last night he sleep 4 hours between feedings so nice. Brody is the noisiest sleeper ever you think he is waking up but really he is just being loud and he squeaks all the time very cute. We are so lucky do have this bundle of joy in our family.

Gavin still loves his “Baby Brother” he is always kissing him and wanting to hold him. I have to try and keep Gavin off Brody all the time. But for the most part I let Gavin kiss Brody as much as he wants so Gavin will not get jealous of Brody or stop liking him. There is just a couple times a day Gavin asks me to put Brody down for a nap. Other cute things Gavin does is when Brody cry’s he says “It’s ok Brody”. I have been having trouble keeping Gavin out of Brody’s bed I had to put a door knob lock on Brody’s bedroom so Gavin can’t get in there when he is sleeping. He climbs into the crib and gives him a kiss and then wants to sleep in the crib for a min. I got very lucky that Gavin likes his brother so much I honestly didn’t think he would. Will see if he still does when he is old enough that Gavin has to share his toys.

We will get to visit everyone again in July and hopefully get to see Braydan, Jessica and Kaleb as long as they still come to visit also.
