Wild Creatures

These last two days have been filled with bad creature experiences. Yesterday Brody left the front door open and a big, huge, ugly lizard came running in the house. I tried to get it out before it went very far, but I didn't want to touch it and it was fast. I was freaking out trying to figure out how to get this gross creature out. The lizard went in my house and climbed and jumped from my different couches. I got my broom out and finally pushed it out the back door. Then Brody and I went outside to trim the rest of the trees and I accidental cut down a birds nest out of the tree. Four bird eggs dead, poor little birds. Gavin was at preschool and sad to hear he didn't get to see the lizard in the house or the birds nest. He wanted me to catch that ugly lizard with a net so we could look at it close up. The last creature was Brody found a black widow in our house. Can you believe it, in our house. I saw Brody was looking at something and he went to touch this black bug and I yelled at him not to touch. The bug scurried off, I got my flash light and bug spray and sprayed that black widow to death then I smashed it with a shoe and flushed it down the toilet. I totally freaked out called my dad and he came and sprayed for bugs. Now I am freaking out not wanting to put the baby down at all, not in her bed or bouncer I am freaked out there are more. I am now wanting to totally pull out everything, doing deep cleaning in all the rooms to make sure there are no more and it's not even summer yet. Scary, my kids are not allowed to like creatures of any kind. Gavin has learned not to touch bugs, but I guess I have not scared fear into Brody yet. He should be scared now.
