I went to part of stake girls camp and let me just say that our ward is amazing. The girls are wonderful and they get the best leaders and bishopric ever.
We had three super cute non member girls come with us to camp. Our girls are always great about welcoming everyone. All three at some point at girls camp talked about being baptised. I had one of the non member-Brittney sit by me during testimony time and I convinced her to share her testimony. She was nervous not knowing what to say and asked me what you are supposed to say to start. She got up and shared a wonderful testimony of her love for the ward and how she could feel the spirit at camp. Our girls and leaders also made so many friends with girls from other wards. We had so many hanging around with us. The stake president came and talked with our the President saying she heard rumors that 20 YCL's were planning on coming into our cabin to sleep on the floor and that wasn't allowed. Sister Taylor told her we didn't have that many and the Camp President said I know they are from other wards also. Luckily that was not allowed, I can't imagine 20 more girls and trying to get everyone quiet and asleep. Which reminds me of one night. One of our girls in our cabin who is so quiet during the day, but then when it came to bed we couldn't get her to stop talking and telling laughy taffy jokes she knew. At one point I told this sweet girl "Anna, I would love to talk to you in the morning". She comes back with "Who said I was talking to you" everyone was in shock and laughing so hard. Then another night one girl found a spider by her bed started screaming, lights came on then everyone was finding spiders by their beds. We had to pull out the raid and spray any spiders found. We went to bed late and had to get up early. I was so tired.
I got the privilege to take pictures the whole time I was there so I was lucky enough to only be in a couple pictures.

Meal Time
Our cute Sunshine skit.
One fun thing we did there was a Spirit competition. There was 8 events all geared to team work. The girls, leaders, and bishopric were very competitive they wanted to win this year. Bellow are a few pictures of some of the events.
As you can see our ward won the spirit stick this year. It was very close competition, but our ward is amazing.

There's something special about girls camp. What a neat experience, despite the late nights and spiders!
