Our ward did a pioneer celebration activity. I think it was a success. I am still on the
committee, but wasn't able to help much with this activity. I will explain more later.
Gavin had a blast with everything. He did the tug-a-war, water balloon relay, water balloon toss (ended up just throwing balloons at dad, his favorite part if you ask), bike parade (he thought it was a race was mad he lost) and a fire truck was supposed to come but we couldn't stay.

Grandma got to hold sleeping Paris.

So I signed up to give blood which was at the stake center the same place the activity was at. I signed up right when it started and was quick enough to be the first one there and the first one done. I went outside and watched Gavin do the relay races and then took Brody to the bathroom. While I was in the bathroom and I so light headed I had to lay down on the floor. I was seriously going to pass out, which is not a first. Luckily a lady was in there with us and got a person from the blood donation and took Brody out to Grandma and Grandpa. The blood lady made me go back in and check vitals and lay in their chair so they could watch me. After all that they walked me to my car and told Chris he had to take me home. I was sad the kids were going to miss the fire truck. So this is my record for giving blood. Try number one passed out right after giving blood, but still in the chair. Second try got a blood clot had to change arms and they only let you give half as much. Third time almost pass out. My record is not good and Chris told me I am no longer allowed to give blood. Even if it means I could save a life. After I went home and took a two hour nap when I got up I was still light headed. So I have been lazy all day.

My only picture and 15 minutes joining the activity.
Oh so Brody has been potty training this month. Well he has been teaching himself. He just decided that he wanted to start using the potty. I have not been pushing it and put a diaper on him when I feel like it, which he will take off if he feels like going. If I leave him naked at home he will go all day and not have any accidents. If I put on a diaper or underwear he will not go on the potty
every time, just most the time. So if we are not going anyplace we just have a naked boy running around, and according to Brody you can't wear a shirt to potty train. So far he has been so much easier to potty train than Gavin. I started Gavin at 2.5 years and worked so hard to teach him and he didn't get it until 3. Brody I was going to wait until 3, but at 2.5 years he wants to teach himself.

I agree with Chris on this one, no more giving blood! haha looks like a fun activity! I'm sure its way hot there now, and I was complaining about it being hot in april!
Glad you are ok now! I was wondering where you were...great pictures of your boys!
