Summer Fun

The boys started taking Swim lessons the first of the summer after the week of strep. Glad we got better in time. The first week of swim was not good. Brody cried the whole time because he didn't want to put his face in the water. I had to pin him down to put on his swimming suite and sunscreen before we left every morning. Gavin cried because he said he was freezing and didn't want to be cold in the water. Then the Sat after a week of swim lessons we all went to the public pool to swim (posted bellow) and Brody decided he loved swimming. The next Monday at swimming lessons he was so happy and continually was going under water and swimming. His teacher and I were amazed with the turn around. We did lessons for 2 weeks straight and tomorrow is the last day. The boys are now very sad.

Gavin loves to dive off the diving board. Tomorrow if I remember I will take my real camera. My phone is just not fast enough to capture the dive at the right time.

Brody jumped off for his first time. He wanted to hold her hand when he jumped.

The next time she helped him jump in and he swam all the way to the edge by himself! YEA!!! I am so proud of my little swimmer. He has come so far in the two weeks.

This is the public pool we went to on Saturday. Had a fun time!

Gavin did think he was freezing the whole time and didn't swim much the first half. We realized later that they heat the big pool which is slightly warmer than the kiddie pool.

So he had fun doing cannon balls and diving into the deep pool. He practiced his back stroke, which he learned in swim lessons.

Paris started to get red skin after only an hour. I think this was her first major exposure to sun. I did put sunscreen on her and reapplied after an hour. Her and dad hung out in the shade. Poor white/pale skin baby.
Poor Grandpa! Brody will not leave Grandpa alone. I really think that he loves it, but I know it makes him tired. He makes me tired and I don't do half the stuff Grandpa does. So glad Grandma and Grandpa come with us. It makes it so much easier to keep all the kids safe and entertained.
Paris didn't liked to get splashed. I think she thought it was cold also. She didn't complain as much as Gavin though. I wanted to bring her a hat and then forgot. She looks cute in her swimming suite though.

Going to head to Utah next week for 4th of July Fun. Also Symony and Josh are being sealed in the Logan temple so happy for them.
