Hike

On Monday Chris didn't have work and we wanted to do something with Grandma and Grandpa. We had to drop off Chris car first and we hadn't made any plans just some ideas. After we dropped off the car Grandma decided she wanted to try a hike she heard about, but wasn't sure exactly were it was. Lucky we found it pretty easy. Because we didn't plan, we were only kind of prepared. Brody was in flip flops and we didn't have any water. But it was lots of fun.

 The boys loved climbing the mountain and on all the rocks.
Brody and Grandma both fell down one time. Not bad I was expecting more falls especially from Brody in flip flops.

Because the boys were climbing all the rocks Paris wanted to join in the the fun. Every little rock we passed on the ground she wanted to sit on so she could be just like the boys. Paris ended up doing so great and walked by herself for most of the hike. Which some parts did make me nervous and I tried to hold on to her hood if she wouldn't hold my hand. Most the time she would swat my hand away. A very independent girl.

It had parks around the hikes. They enjoyed the slides and swings. While at the park Gavin wanted to keep hiking so Grandma and me took him on another trail around the park, but I had to remind him we still had to hike back to the car.

 I told Chris we really need to do hikes more often before it gets hot. All the kids had lots of fun. Then we all went to lunch at Chili's.  

 I was very tired that night.
