A couple weeks ago I started teaching Brody how to read the kindergarten SAM books. He knows all the words from the first 4 books, which include: I, see, Sam, am, Mat. The next book we are working on has the word "me". Helping him learn to sound out the words and recognize sight words. He has enjoyed learning to read, we have another year before kindergarten. He might be a pro reader before kindergarten even starts if he keeps this up.
