Gavin's Birthday

This was Gavin's little party on Friday with his friends. His fun cousins got him a hot wheel dinosaur track which went perfect with ...
...the track that Grammy and Grandad sent him. He now has a "great, big, huge track" which both boys love to play with.
Video of the party singing to Gavin. His favorite birthday song is "You've Had A Birthday" so that is what we sang to him.

On Saturday Grandma and Grandpa took Gavin out for fun on his birthday. They took him swimming for the day. This was really a present for me because I put Brody down for a nap had a relaxing bath and took a nap before he got home. While Chris was at a scout training.

Later that night we asked Gavin what place he wanted to eat for his birthday dinner. He picked McDonalds. Then we all went shopping after for Gavin a birthday gift. Grandma and Grandpa wanted to get him a present. He said he wanted the other part of the track called the fossil flipper that was on the box. So we went looking, they had already looked at another store after swimming and didn't find it. While we were shopping for toys, yes he wanted everything! He found a toy called Bakugan Battle Brawlers. Grandma said he wanted it at the other store they were at. He has seen that toy when we have gone shopping and I never wanted to get it for him. I figured they would be like that little transformers that lose all their pieces. Much to my surpise it is a wonderful game. They are balls you roll onto the magnitic card and then pop open to dragons, then you push them back to balls. There is a whole game for them, but Gavin just flys them around and calls them fire balls.

He took one to bed and at midnight I was awaken to screaming. Went to check on Gavin and he was very upset because he lost the blue ball he took to bed. The biggest drama for a four year old is losing a toy in the middle of the night.
Dad and I bought him a cap gun we thought about getting him a remote control car or helecopter. We went to the hobbie store and they wanted $180 for an average size remote control car we thought his $6.00 gun was enough, he already got tons of toys by the time we gave him his gift.

This is what Brody has been like all week. He is getting some teeth and is not a happy camper. He only wants to be held, which is hard for me to get anything done, plus it hurts my back.
Boys helping me go crazy making cupcakes. I used to let Gavin help in the kitchen all the time, but now with four little hands I can't handle it. I am always telling them to get out of the kitchen.

Other pictures that don't have anything to do with his birthday. Brody has loved the Geo Track train set. If anyone has little boys this is the perfect gift. Gavin still enjoys playing, but Brody pulls it out every day for me to build for him.
This is what I feel comes with a four year old, ATTITUDE. Gavin has gotten the biggest attitude. With phrases like "I can do what I want to!", "I'm mad at you!" and yells "Stop" and "I just want to tell you something!" when he is has gotten in trouble and we are talking about what he did wrong. We also get the door slammed when he is mad. This little attitude better not last long.

The cute boys in dad's helmet.

haha I am thinking the attitude gets worse as they get older? I remember thinking terrible twos? this isn't so bad? . . . then he turned three. :) There is a slight possibility I just might go crazy before he is a teenager???

Happy birthday Gavin! What a lucky boy to get fun toys! I love that he picked McDonalds :) I'm not looking forward to all those attitude things ! Kaleb already called me stupid today.. . . but I don't think he knew what it meant :)

Bakugans are so super cool. I love that they don't have any pieces that can get lost too. Whoever came up with them is a genius, and is rich. YOur boys are darling!!!
