Braydan and Jessica Visit

My brother Braydan, Jessica, Kaleb, and Eliza came to visit. They are still here but I thought I would post some pictures so far. We are always busy.

San Tan Flats Dinner

Roasting Marshmallows
Playing arcade games and pool.
Kaleb plays well with the boys.
Arizona Museum of Natural History
Brody giving loves to Eliza
Brody didn't like the dinosaur museum. He was scared of almost everything. His face in this picture is how he looked most the time. Wanting to be held and pointing to leave.

Kaleb and Gavin
Digging for gold. The water was cold and the boys got soaked.
We have also been to the swap meet, playing games, temple lights, parks. All sorts of fun stuff.
These next pictures are from before they came, but I wanted to journal.
Dad's Day off Christmas Eve
We went bowling something Dad and the boys enjoy doing.
Gavin was a good bowler with those bumpers he got a few spares.
Brody was cute pushing and watching the ball go. Then he would take off running to get another ball. They had lots of fun.
I wanted some praymantis for the garden to eat all my nasty bugs. We bought 5 eggs to put in the garden. The Internet said we should have between 100-200 per sack. So I am hoping for 500 little babies soon. They said you can hatch in your house in a sack so we are going to do one sack in the house to watch them hatch then put them outside. Gavin thinks they are cool, hopefully they will stick around and make our own egg sacks for next year.

Looks like you guys have been having fun! Wish we could be there! That is funny about brody and the dinasors, sounds like my girls! Why you want TONS of praymantis is beyond me but I guess less bugs is good! You will have to post some pics of the baby ones though it would be intresting what they look like!

One summer we found dozens of praying mantis! I still can't believe my parents let us keep them in jars in the house... even buying crickets for them to eat. All of them laid sacks of eggs but my mom drew the line when we found out we were supposed to keep the sacks in the fridge over winter then let them hatch in the spring. You are a brave mom.
