Surprise

Cousins Came to See
So I left everyone hanging. I got busy with school, lack of sleep, and life. Well if everyone was wondering Paris did come home from the hospital.

My parents took me to the hospital of Saturday April 10th, one week after her birth. They had told me to plan on Paris coming home on Sunday or Monday. Surprise, they told me after being there a couple of hours that she was allowed to go home. Yea, I had brought a car seat a friend had given me for the car seat test, she was supposed to take, but the car seat was huge and they wouldn't let me take her home in that. I also didn't bring an outfit to take her home in. I had brought one every other day in hopes, but left it in the car. I called Amy asked if I could borrow her car seat. Called Chris told him to bring an outfit and go get the other car seat from Amy. Finally two hours later we were on our way home. My parents told me that they wanted me to call when we were coming because they wanted to see the boys see her for the first time. Boy what an experience. They both came running to the car when we drove up wanting to see and hold her. I was especially surprised with Brody he was so excited and keep holding out his hands saying "Baby Sit" wanting to hold her. If you ask Brody to say Paris is sounds like princess. After four days it is starting to sound more like Paris. Gavin likes to call Paris "Sweetheart", which also reminds me that I noticed that Gavin calls Brody "Brod". Brody is a big helper even if I don't want it. He brings her pacifiers, her bouncer chair, his food and his blankets for her, and old bottles. After four days Brody has finally doesn't go crazy every time he sees her. Now when I look at Brody I see a little boy, big hands, big feet, he all of the sudden is so big to me.
Paris is doing great the first night she really didn't sleep much. The nurse had warned me that she might not because they are used to lots of noise and its quiet during the night at home. The next night she did good, but she gets up every two hours and takes a half hour during those two hours to eat one once. I have a really hard time with the newborns because of the lack of sleep. I can't wait until she starts sleeping longer and eats faster. She still sleeps most the day maybe totals one hour being awake.
