Updates

Gavin

Gavin moved to an older class in Gymnastics. The class is all boys and they do lots of strength training and flexibility. It is crazy watching them learn to climb the rope, abs exercises, different flexibility moves, and work on all the different men's events. He goes for an hour twice a week. Things he likes is anything into the pit like flips, jumping on the tramp into the pit, climbing on the rope and dropping into the pit. His teacher Erin (the owner) is tough. She works them hard and they have to listen. The first day after the new class he said he didn't like it because it was hard, but he is getting lots better and doesn't say he doesn't like it anymore.

We also had parent teachers conference for Gavin. Mrs Bono says he is doing great. I am amazed how fast he is learning everything. He learns much better from her than me. He can now write his name, has almost learned all his letters and getting close to about 3/4 the sounds. He still needs to work on counting not sure why he has a hard time with that area. He was 4 before he would listen to me that there was a number 5. He still has a hard time with numbers 11-20 missing 13, 15 most the time after 20 its easier for him. He is finally coloring in the lines instead of just scribbling on everything. His teacher says he has the social aspect down. Not sure why I always have so much to say about him. He must be my busy child.

Brody

Still loves dogs. Working on potty training he does great if he is naked, but if I put him in underwear he thinks he can go there. He is getting more defiant with more tantrums and getting sent to his room more. He is still a funny kid though and makes me laugh when he is not having a tantrum. Brody still loves Paris and usually drives me crazy because he smothers her. The weather is getting cooler the boys will put on jackets in the morning to play outside in the 70 degree weather.

Paris

She is getting big and can now roll both directions. I still wish that she would sleep longer during the night. Not sure why none of my kids sleep long at night. She laughs and talks more. Chris loves her two dimples. We still get comments that she is small. I don't think she is that little though. Still not much hair.

Helena and Chris

Still in school, I have until October of next year. I still hate it! Now that it is cooling down I am starting to get things ready for my wood hobby. Hopefully I can post some finished projects soon. Not sure what project I want to start first I have so many on my list. I still feel busy with my callings, but the beehives are always planning fun activities so I like that part. Last week we had a swim party this next week the other group is in charge but then Friday we are having a sleepover. Then we are making hair accessories next week, hope the ones I ordered come soon. Chris is still working hard we are hoping UOP will change the schedules so he will have half day Fridays.
