Busy Halloween

Pumpkin Carving
The kids carved pumpkins. Gavin had to carve the whole thing by himself. Gavin with a sharp object makes me nervous. Brody tried and then gave up after a little bit. Dad finished the rest of the pumpkin for him.
As he was doing his pumpkin by himself it reminded me of school earlier that day. I went to volunteer at Gavin school that morning and the kids had to glue on 3-D items on paper pumpkins for homework. So of course Gavin used tons of glue and glued on everything thing I gave him seeds, flowers, beads, painted the pumpkin, etc all over. When I went to school and saw the other kids I thought wow Gavin is so far behind all the other kids, their pumpkins were so creative. When I talked to his teacher about this she said "Gavin was the only one to do it by himself". I was like, ya you are probably right, he has to do everything by himself.
Gavin making his pumpkin face.
I like how Gavin put the knives on the side of his pumpkin.
Literature Parade
Gavin school does a literature parade that they dress up like main character in a book. I had lots of books from the library and had Gavin pick one that he wanted to dress up like. He picked Otto the robot from See Pip Point. I think he wanted this character because he wanted a balloon.
Brody wanted to dress up also.
Waiting for the parade.
His friend Micheal is in front of him. Gavin was one of the cutest in the class.

Ward Trunk or Treat

The ward had a trunk or treat at a farm in the ward. They had booths for the kids. I didn't hardly even see Gavin he keep running around the whole night and riding in the cart ride. Brody played with Grandma and Grandpa in the dirt and on the see-saw.

Chris Work Party
Chris work took the employees and family to Amazing Jake's. The kids had a blast with all you can eat and rides. Gavin favorite ride is the bumper cars and Brody favorite is the frog hopper.
Brody went on so many times my guess around 20.
Dad carried Paris and showed her off to everyone he worked with, she sleeps during the fun.

Brody also enjoyed the merry-go-round. He thought it was fun to let go and ride with no hands.
Brody and Gavin rode separate rides. Brody wanted to go on the fast coaster but he wasn't big enough so he had to find other rides he could ride. The company payed for everything including the games that cost money.

I also have my two hardest classes Research and Statistics during all the holidays. It is kind of frustrating trying to get the homework finished and still have fun with the family.

Looks like fun! the independence must run in the family, Chase had to carve his pumpkin himself too, and if I would have let him I am sure he would have stabbed the knives into the pumpkin just like that haha (he was trying to)
