Camping

We went camping in Payson, AZ about 3 hours from us. The weather was cool, but had scattered showers most the time. Which leads to very dirty children.

Brody loved our friends dog. He would be the first to hold the leash and take the old dog for an unwanted walk. We couldn't take our dog because she is still to little. But Grandma and Grandpa loved taking care of her for the three days.

 Gavin enjoyed hitting trees with sticks in the forest.

 We went fishing/swimming which was the kids favorite part. We did that twice. The kids thought the water was cold.

 Brody is the little fisherman. Getting the biggest catch. A picture at the bottom. He really enjoyed fishing.

 

 Gavin liked to fish with the pole that had the weight instead of the hook. We was able to cast it very far, which was his favorite part. He keep saying he hoped he would catch the biggest fish. Which we told him he would never catch a fish without a hook. Some little fish swam up to him fishing and keep trying to get the rubber end, he would of had a better chance just grabbing the fish. He really thought he would get one for some reason. Gavin ended up getting the end stuck in the water and we couldn't get it out.

 Brody used real bait.

 This is Brody's biggest catch. A 30 lb Brody, while casting he got the hook stuck in his back. Which if you can see it, it left a hook shape mark and had a little blood.

Camping is lots of work! Especially cleaning up after and not getting the best sleep. It was wonderful getting out of the heat though.
