The bushes need to be trimmed. Usually I trim the trees and bushes, but today I was making Gavin’s Birthday cake so Chris said he would do it. He said he didn’t know how to trim one of the bushes and I said last time I trimmed it I just cut it down. I was watching while I was making the cake and was a little sad that he was cutting the bushes so small. I like larger bushes. Finally, finished the cake and Brody was waking up so I took him outside. I was looking around and freaked out. The bush he asked how to trim was gone. I said, “Where’s the bush” and Chris responded that he cut it down. When I say down that does not mean OFF. I could not believe it. Who would cut a bush all the way off? I sure hope that it grows back. Chris is all mad, doesn’t understand how all the day labors know how to trim a bush and now he has to Google how to trim a bush. He claims he is going to hire out next time. Maybe if we were rich he could be lazy, but until then I will have to continue to trim bushes or we just will have stumps. It is funny now, but I was a little upset that he isn’t handy outside.

P.S.S. Gavin will be on a sugar high all day because he was sneaking off the counter all the candy I used for the cake.

Ha, ha. YOu are funny Helena. I laughed cause I did what Chris did. I didn't know how to trim it so I messed up and it looked horrible so I cut the whole thing down. I have no patience sometimes. I guess you better trim from now on if you want to save your plants.
I'm going to have to take Chris' side on this one. Trimming bushes can be hard and besides, you told him to "cut it down"! Just think, it won't be too long before you can make Gavin do the yard work and then blame any mistakes on him.
