New Car

We bought a new car. I know we said we would wait a year, but those who know me, know I cannot wait. We went looking for an SUV we were thinking of the Honda Pilot or Nissan Pathfinder. However, I did not end up liking either. The Honda back seat was small and the Pathfinder you had to climb over the middle seat to get to the back. The sales guy showed us the Chrysler Pacifica. Chris loves it, I tell him it looks like a little mini van, (which he refuses to buy a mini van) but he says it looks like an SUV. It is considered a crossover a cross between a car and a suv. It has higher miles than I wanted but was an excellent price it is a 2004. We had looked at an 2006 and was double the price.

Things I don’t love-
The color is not my favorite
The trunk space is not very big

Things we like about the car-
6 passenger
3.5L V6
Easy to get kids in and out
Roomy inside
Good gas millage
A million buttons for Chris to play with
Excellent safety features: air bags all around and excels in all crash situation.
Power and automatic everything
6 disk DVD player excellent for long rides with Gavin
Navigation system now I hopefully will not get lost.






Craig and I planted winter grass, this is my first year doing so, in 2 weeks it should look fabulous. It sure felt like a lot of work to do every year it better look good.


Brody loves bath time so I had to take a picture. He doesn't care that he splashes all over his face.

The pictures below is of Gavin and Brody in the same outfit. Grammy Parker bought Gavin this cute top for his first birthday. I loved it and thought it was so cute and couldn't wait to put Brody in it. It finally was getting cool enough that he could wear it and now it almost doesn't fit. I am pretty sure that Gavin was able to wear it for awaile. Maybe Brody will get thinner soon.

This picture is of my parents house they bought. It will be done in December so we get the joy of having them here for a couple of more months. I am sure they will be overly ready to go when it is done with Gavin keeping them up all hours of the night.
