Garden Fun and Dad Time

Dad Time
One of the only things I enjoy about going to school is that Chris gets lots of alone time with the boys. Most Saturdays he takes the boys out so I can get some homework finished. This Saturday they went golfing and had lots of fun. I am glad Chris took the camera. This class has less work than my last class, which is nice right before the baby is due. Only problem less work usually means worse teacher. She drives me crazy with things and makes it so I don't want to do the little work I have. My last class was crazy busy with assignments, but I didn't mind the instructor and the assignments were normal. So I didn't mind doing the crazy amount of work. Three more weeks of class then 3 days before that baby comes. Two week break from class then another class before girls camp and a week break from class.

Garden Fun
If you remember we had got pray mantis eggs well one started to hatch and the boys were excited to see all of them around in the garden. Of course they wanted to hold them and probably stepped on a bunch. I think the lizards ate a bunch of them we can only find a few left. We still have four more eggs that will probably hatch soon. The top picture is Gavin holding them he wants to hold one every day.
This is Brody holding one as soon as it started to move he decided to throw the bug. His comments "ouch bugs" and "I don't like bug". I am pretty sure that pray mantis died within minutes with all the handling of the boys.
As some of you know Gavin's favorite food is "Salad" lettuce and ranch for dipping. I had run out and told Gavin we could get some out of the Garden. We picked the biggest leaves and he ate all of them for lunch. He is already talking about picking more for tomorrow. I don't think they will grow fast enough for his taste. I planted lettuce and carrots three different times so they wouldn't all be ready at the same time to eat. We also have squash coming and a few tomatoes. I also planted, peppers, cucumbers and onions I got an early start this year so hopefully we will actually get something to eat before it gets way to hot.
This is what my life feels like at most times. I got some play doh out for the boys so I could get some cleaning done. After I am done with that chore I come back to a new chore of cleaning play doh from everywhere. They decided to throw it all over the house. We move from one mess to the next, isn't life fun.

I bet he would love to squish a few too. LOL. I"m glad you can have a break soon from school! Have fun with your garden! I'm jealous Gavin can eat spinach already! lucky ducks.

Wow I can't believe you guys are holding those grose bugs! ha ha ha that is fun they went golfing. When I clean my girls have to help me, so they don't make a big mess, no fun picking things up off the floor when you are prego! Good job keeping at school, you are doing good!

Poor Helena, I really do wonder how you keep two active boys happy all day long! And you are pregnant and going to school on top of it all! My prayers and positive thoughts are going out to you! I think it's hilarious that Broady didn't like the mantis once it started to move. He doesn't like real things that move. Silly kid! I miss you guys and I am still mad that we aren't going to live by you guys. I hate the whole situation and I'm trying to be positive. But I still love you guys and I want to visit soon. LOVE YOU GIRL!!! Have a good day.
