Gift for Christ from Gavin

This has been a fun year for Christmas. I have been trying to explain the real reason we have Christmas to Gavin. He finally understand Santa and I want him to understand that we are also celebrating Christs birth. We talk about Jesus and how he was born and that it's his birthday and that is why we celebrate Christmas. I explained the wise men giving him gifts. I asked Gavin what he should give Jesus for his birthday. He said he wants to give him a pacifier. I said he is up in heaven right now so what else can we give him. He still thinks he should give him Brody's pacifier. I suggested that we think about him on Christmas and he said yes and Fido too because he is in heaven also. I am not sure if he understands everything, but it is fun to see it from a four-year-old eye.
