Thanksgiving

It took me a long time to post because I didn't remember my camera for Thanksgiving and Symony was nice enough to email me her pictures. So this is Thanksgiving Symony, Josh, Remi and Cheyane came to visit. Mom made a wonderful dinner the only job I had was the rolls and everyone thought I was slow with those. We said we were eating at 2:00 and at 12:00 they were telling me to hurry and by 1:00 they told me they were ready to eat. I had Chris run over some of the rolls that still needed to rise earlier, so they could bake for me, while I finished the rest. Finally got to their house an hour before the 2:00 they said we would eat to have a wonderful meal.

After dinner they went to the park and played.

Gavin wanted to have a sleepover at Grandma because Remi and Cheyane were lucky to get to sleep at Grandma and Grandpa's. They were nice enough to let him join in the fun.

We decorated the tree the day after Thanksgiving. I love that little kids put all the ornaments in one place. Brody was so proud of himself that he could do it.

They like the candy canes the best.
The finished tree and it is a week later and it is still up, yea!

We went to the zoo one day and took mom's little neighbor boy with us. They had so much fun.

Stingray bay is and always will be my favorite part of the zoo. Gavin loves to touch the stingrays. Brody did not want to touch them.

We were finally able to get him to touch the water. This is as close to the stingrays as he would get.

Funny story, the guy that works at the bay came up to me and told me my son (aka Gavin) was drinking the stringray bay water. He wanted me to know that is was fine that it probably just tasted like salt water, but wanted me to know. What a weird kid. Then when he was touching the stingrays one came and splashed him in the face, he was soaked, it was funny. Gavin keep saying "that dumb stingray". We love the zoo.
