This Easter weekend was lots of fun on Friday we got the plastic eggs out and filled them with candy.
However, for some reason the candy did not end up staying in the eggs. Gavin made a mess with the purple grass, had treats all over the floor and in his mouth. 
Gavin had fun decorating Brody for a picture.
Later that day it got so hot that I had to take off Brody’s clothes so he could go to sleep. It seems weird that it could still be snowing in Utah and we are ready to turn on the air conditioner.
On Saturday, we went to Mike and Amy’s to color eggs with the cousins and have lunch and a Easter egg hunt. 
The kids had lots of fun, Gavin colored two dozen eggs alone. Before we started coloring, we were getting water ready for the color
tablets and Gavin came sat down by me and started eating something I made him open his mouth and he had put a yellow color tablet in his mouth. I tried getting all the pieces out and then he decided that it did not taste good. Chris took him over to the sink to get some water 
in his mouth to get it out. His mouth was yellow after that, we looked on the box and if you wanted to know the tablets will not harm you if eaten. It just doesn’t taste very good. Well we hope that Gavin now knows that just because it looks like candy it might not taste like candy. Mike cooked us lunch 
chicken salad and potato salad. That evening Amy wanted to get dresses, shirts, and ties for the kids so we went shopping. Now don’t judge me on the next thing but when we were parking there was a donation bin for some place not sure where. But they had a little kids bike just like Kyler has and well we put it in the trunk and took it home. Chris and I gave it to Gavin for Easter. It wasn’t the DI and well we give things all the time so I justified taking it.

Sunday is Easter and we gave Gavin way more than we need to. We got a car track from the movie Cars and the cars from the
movie go around he loves it. In addition, the bike I found and some cheep sunglasses. We didn’t do another hunt figured he didn’t care. The morning just flew by 10:00 church comes a lot sooner then 1:00 still not used to that yet. We invited Mike, Amy and the kids over for dinner. I am in the process of making ham, mashed potatoes, cabbage salad, jell-o, stuffing and ice cream. Amy is bringing some brownies to go with the ice cream. I hope everything turns out good. We love and miss everyone wish we could live close to all our family.

You guys did way more than we did for easter! Poor kaleb. I love the picture of Brody in the easter basket. That's hilarious Gavin ate the yellow coloring. That boy is like 5 kids put together! Your dinner sounded nummy. Hope it turned out good and you had a good easter sunday! We miss family:(
That is really funny! That is awsome you got him a LOT we just got Remi a Kick Ball and some candy we never filled the eggs with candy because I knew if she found the candy she wouldn't want to find any more eggs! I wish you guys lived closer too! but I bet it is kind of nice to be away sometimes! but you have to remember who my in-laws are (There CRAZY!) It sounds like you had a fun Easter! love ya!
